Just had some new 1" axle bearings delivered, come to assemble them and the have a small pip on the clamping face
Question
Do I file the pip off
Do I file an indent into the clamp
Do I tighten the clamp up and grip the pip
Someone advice please

Hi Clive,
I had the same problem, so I filed them off :o :o

It just pulls out with a pair of pliers - it's only a pin to plug the hole used to fill it with grease.
