Some Dates for 2014

the BHKC had a good year for 2013 and this is intended for everyone including visitors to the site as to what is happening for 2014. More detailed information of the calendar will appear in the members' forum (joining the website will find it) as details are received by the organisers. The committee is already working on the calendar and dates are already confirmed for the large motorsport events. we are hoping to confirm the popular "kart only" events such as the Shenington Revival/Reunion, Midland Champs Rissington and Roy Mortara meeting (Camberley) at "Kartmania", the international kart show. This is at Silverstone over November 31st/December 1st 2013. The website is www. kartmania.co.uk

2014

Autosport show NEC Birmingham 8-12th January

Race Retro show NAC, Stoneleigh, near Coventry 22-23th February (we have an inside stand and a new live-action course for 2014 due to building work).

Donington historic motor sport festival. 3/5th May. we have live action on the Melbourne loop shared with the rally cars on all three days.

Shenington Revival (banbury) 13-15th Sept. Historic kart revival meeting held in conjunction with Shenington KRc's Super Prix meeting.

Silverstone Classic 25/27th July. we usually have a live demo somewhere in the complex.

Aberdare motor bike races 25/27th July. static display plus live action.

TKM festival Kimbolton (hunts) 9/10th August
Castle hill motor festival and hillclimb (Barnstaple, Devon) 9/10 August static show plus live action runs up the hill.
Oulton Park Gold Cup 23-25th August. static show plus live track action on the ally circuit all three days. this was a magic event in 2013.

Rissington (cotswold) Sept 6/7th track demo at midland championship meeting.

Buckmore park (London) Oct 18/19th track demo at their anniversary meeting.

kartmania silverstone Nov 31st/1st Dec UK kart show.


We are making enquiries about new meeting including one at the Kop hillclimb - Bucks(Sept)

A club membership form for 2014 is available is under the "welcome and general information" topic.

The race series is organised by retro racer ( a separate organisation) and can be found on http://www.retroracer-hks.com. There are non-race track sessions for our members which include novices and beginners at these events.
