Juniors - clutches

Juniors - clutches

Postby davidbradley » 09 Dec 2013, 21:38

Hi
My son (13) is looking to join the club, with the hope of doing demos etc.
I'd heard that the club didn't allow clutches. Is that just for races, and does it also apply to juniors please?
He's always been a fan of Yamahas, and would prefer to use a clutched KT100

Thanks

Hi David

The clutched KT100 is on our engine list and is OK for demos. There are two running with the club at the minute, both are used to give beginners a taste of Historic Karting.

Hope to see you and your son at some of our events in the new year.

Thanks for that Peter
Can the KT100 only be used on karts made 1978-1982?, or have I misunderstood?
Thanks again
