What is the difference between bm engine S 100 and bm engine k96?
What are the years of the motors?
Are there any photos about it?
Regards

Sorry Michele

I can't help you with this one, my knowledge of direct drive engines is limited, I will have a look through some back issues of Karting Magazine and see what I can find out.

I'm sure that someone on this site can and will help with your enquiry.

Michele, Are you coming to Spa Francorchmps for Euro RetroRacer :?:

Hi Michelle,

In essence the early BM motors are all long stoke with 1 more barrel fin than the later short stroke FK96 (1973) or K96/3 (1975).

If you can post some pictures of your engine and confirm if it is a two or three piece crank we should be able to identify it.

If you send me a "e" mail I can forward you details as pdf. I cannot upload these to the BHKC site because they are too big.
